Healthy Shoes

VOLUME

VOLUME

Wallin has developed a last with anatomically correct volume, which ensures your feet have space. The extra space at the forefoot ensures increased comfort as there is no pressure on the feet from the sides, front, or top of the shoe.

TREAD BOTTOM

TREAD BOTTOM

Wallin's experienced orthopaedic shoemakers have developed an orthopaedically correct gait sole. The curved shape of the gait sole ensures a natural roll for the musculoskeletal system when walking. This rolling motion distributes the weight across the entire foot, reducing pressure on the foot's joints.

REMOVABLE INSOLES

REMOVABLE INSOLES

The Wallin shoe comes with an antibacterial insole, which can be replaced with a custom insole if needed. Underneath the insole is a 3mm foam insert, which can be removed if there is a need to create even more volume in the shoe.

WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS SAY ABOUT OUR SHOES

Really good shoe to walk in. I have wide feet, so it's just right in size. They're also good to wear on longer trips - I've just been on vacation with a travel time of 26 hours - pretty much without taking off my shoes - except for a quick shower. I stand a lot at my job, and there too, the shoe is really good. I would definitely recommend it. I hope you make some sandals of the same good quality.

Peter Autrup

The Wallin shoe is absolutely one of the best we've tried. We are very happy with them. The shoes are quite easy to put on and fit well. The foot feels good. The shoe has helped and we walk more upright. We have recommended the shoe to several people who were not satisfied with their existing footwear, and we will do so again anytime.

Jette & Søren Rosenberg

The Wallin shoe is the only shoe I can wear! There are no seams that press in the wrong places, and I don't get sore feet because of the rounded rocker/sole. The shoe has absolutely helped me, and I recommend it to others who have arthritis in their feet.

Jette Drewsen Madsen

The shoe is trendy, and I can wear it for both everyday use and parties. Wallin shoes are spacious, so even arthritic feet are comfortable, and the rocker sole helps a stiff ankle walk painlessly. The shoe has really helped me and my arthritic feet, so I can walk 4-5 km every day without problems. I can definitely recommend the shoe and have already recommended it to several people who have now also discovered the benefits of Wallin shoes. The only things I miss are a Wallin sandal and hiking boots.

5 Great Tips For Choosing Healthy Shoes

It is important that you take care of your feet and choose healthy shoes, because lifelong movement is crucial for quality of life.

1. SIZE AND FIT
The shoe must have a fit that suits your feet. The shoes should not be too short or too narrow. There must be room for you to spread your toes and lift them freely. Shoes that are too small are absolutely forbidden. Unfortunately, many people choose to wear shoes that are too pointed and high for a long time. This compresses the foot and foot position and can cause permanent damage to the foot.
2. REAR FOOT SUPPORT
It is important that there is support and stability around the hindfoot, so that the foot does not roll around or forward in the shoe. Support and stability, together with a wide sole, also help to increase your balance. You should choose a stable and encompassing heel counter.
3. THE SOLE
The sole should have a rocker sole that helps you move forward with as little energy as possible, and not least relieves your joints and feet. A rocker sole with good width ensures balance and distributes pressure to your entire sole.
4. THE HEEL
The forefoot is strained by high heels and can eventually lead to fallen arches and bunions. It is important that the foot is relaxed. We do not recommend wearing high heels if you want to ensure healthy feet.
5. THE INSOLE
The insole should be cushioned and preferably with arch support and a good heel cup so that your sole gets optimal support. The best possible relief and support for your foot is achieved with an insole made from a 3D scan of your foot. You can therefore advantageously choose a shoe where the insole can be removed and replaced with your own custom-made insole. You can have an insole made by your orthopaedic shoemaker, podiatrist or orthotist.
